Saturday was a good training day, especially for crosswind takeoffs and landings. The P-40 TFR forced everyone to take higher tows so that they good get flying time outside the expanded P-40. There was some wave, but it was elusive, and the 25-30 knot wind blowing us away from the field required adjustment. The evening was beautiful as the sun set over the hills.
Sunday was a bit more overcast, with limited lift, and not as windy as Saturday. One dedicated instructor and 2 tow pilots worked hard with equally dedicated members who wanted to get checked out in the ASK 21s. Thanks tow pilots Bob, Bill and Mike, and instructors Paul and Glenn.
