W73 is a privately owned, public-use airport, and we are pleased to support safe and respectful aeronautical use of the airport.
As an active soaring operation, W73 has specific access and operating rules to help protect safety and ensure smooth airport operations for everyone. While the airport is open for public aeronautical use, access to airport property, vehicle movement, aircraft staging, and related ground activities must take place only in designated areas and in accordance with airport rules, posted signs, and airport management direction.
Normal aircraft operations, transient use, pickup and drop-off, and approved support activities are welcome when conducted safely and in the proper areas. Bringing aircraft, trailers, vehicles, or equipment onto airport property for staging, parking, assembly, or operation requires airport authorization and must occur only in approved locations.
